To increase the game's replayability, we're adding in a sort of 'achievement' system. Each level will have three 'scarabs' to obtain in the same manner of many games' three-star scores. These scarabs will appear in a splash screen after a level is complete. 1. Obtained by completing the level 2. Obtained by collecting the floating scarab from within the level (pictured, early prototype). These form an optional extra objective, and getting them is usually harder than just completing the level, sometimes involving techniques that the player won't be well practiced with with until later levels 3. Obtained by completing the level in the fewest possible moves. Consequently, #2 and #3 can't be completed at the same time, and at least one of those will provide an incentive to go back to older levels and do them again with the added challenge.
